AFTER UNIVERSITY After leaving Aberdeen I started working in television at the Independent Television Authority in Knightsbridge, which later became The Independent Broadcasting Authority. I spent my spare time in late 1968 building a new set of disco equipment. My disco was based in Thornton Heath in Surrey and was known as the Doctor Sureshot disco, the name coming from Dandy's Jamaican 45 'Doctor Sureshot' on the Downtown label.
